CAMPBELL HILL, Dixie A. Nagel, 85, of Campbell Hill, passed away at 4:56 PM Wednesday, March 14, 2012, at Three Springs Lodge in Chester, Illinois. Dixie was born March 15, 1926 in Willisville, Illinois the daughter of Henry Bryan and Martha Myrtle Smith Lively. She married Omer Nagel on November 28, 1943 at St. Luke Lutheran Church, Campbell Hill, IL. She was a homemaker. Dixie was a member of the St. Luke Lutheran Church, Campbell Hill, IL and WELCA as well as various church committees at St. Luke Lutheran Church. Dixie is survived by her husband, Omer Nagel of Campbell Hill; daughter, Sherlin (Bill) Richelman of Campbell Hill; son, Rick (Vivian) Nagel of Campbell Hill; 5 grandchildren; 2 step grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren; 4 step great grandchildren; sister, Henrietta Bailey of Willisville; three sisters-in-law, Dixie Lively of Granite City, IL, Helen Nagel of Steeleville, IL and Ruby Nagel of Campbell Hill, IL. Dixie was preceded in death by her Parents; two brothers; one infant daughter; one great granddaughter: Kyleigh Erin Richelman; one step granddaughter: Kristian. Funeral services will be held Saturday, March 17, 2012 at 11:00 AM at St. Luke Lutheran Church , Campbell Hill, IL with Rev. Matt Kamprath and Debra Rathert, Lay Minister officiating. Burial will follow at St. Luke Lutheran Cemetery, Campbell Hill, IL. Visitation will be at Wilson's Funeral Home, Ava on Friday from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Saturday from 7:30 AM to 9:00 AM and at St. Luke's Lutheran Church on Saturday from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. Memorials may be made to Alzheimer's Association, Three Springs Lodge Recreational Fund or the Memorial Fund at St. Luke's Lutheran Church.
