AVA – Dennis Ray Stuthers, 70, of Ava, passed away Thursday, April 29, 2021 at his home in Ava, IL.

Dennis was born April18, 1951 in Christopher, IL, to Terence and Opal Smith Stuthers.  He married Earla Carr on August 16, 2015.  Dennis was a retired Counselor for the DuQuoin Impact Incarceration Corrections Department in DuQuoin, IL. Dennis was of the Catholic faith and was a member of the US Marine Corps.

Dennis is survived by his wife Earla Stuthers of Ava, IL, son, Luther Stuthers of Ava, IL and four grandchildren.

Dennis was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers and two sisters.
