Delvia R. Jeremiah PERCY, Delvia R. Jeremiah, 87, of Percy, passed away at12:20 A.M. Sunday, March 29, 2009, at St. Ann's Healthcare Center in Chester, IL. Delvia was born on June 13, 1921 in Sulfur Rock, Arkansas the daughter of William Turner Tosh and Essie (Driscoll) Tosh. She married Gerald Victor Jeremiah on April 4, 1943 in Perryville, Missouri. He passed away on June 6. 1966. She is survived by her children: James V. Jeremiah of Cutler, IL, John J. Jeremiah of Percy, IL, Susan L. Misuraca of Viburnum, MO, and Tim D. Jeremiah of Lewisburg, TN; six grandchildren; two great grandchildren, several step grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers, and two sisters. Mrs. Jeremiah was a member of the First Baptist Church, Percy, Illinois. She was a retired housekeeper from Randolph County Care Center.She was a former member of the Rebekah Lodge. Funeral services will be held Thursday, April 2, 2009 at 11:00 A.M. at Wilson's Funeral Home in Percy. Rev. Jim Endsley will be officiating. Burial will be at Percy Village Cemetery. Visitation will be held at Wilson's Funeral Home, Percy, Illinois on Wednesday from 6-8pm and on Thursday from 7:30am until hour of service. Memorials may be made to Alzheimer's Research.
