CHESTER – Delores E. Eggemeyer, 91, of Chester, passed away Thursday, October 21, 2021, at Three Springs Lodge, Chester, IL.

Delores was born February 2, 1930, in Chester, IL, to Walter and Dora Smith. She married Fritz Eggemeyer on April 21, 1951, in Chester, IL. Delores was a homemaker and a member of Peace Lutheran Church, Steeleville, IL.

Delores is survived her husband, Fritz Eggemeyer of Chester, IL, children: Allen (Dee) Eggemeyer of Walsh, IL, JoAnn (Paul) Holcomb of Chester, IL; grandchildren: Chrissy Green (Bill), Trisha Calvert (Kevin), Lance (Amanda) Eggemeyer, Brandi (Kale) Mahnke, Lauren (Keith) Groff, Eric (Tricia) Mueller; thirteen great grandchildren and eighteen great great grandchildren.

Delores is preceded in death by her parents and one sister.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm, Saturday, October 23, 2021, at Peace Lutheran Church Steeleville, with Rev. Matt Helfrich and Parrish Ministry Assistant Julie Posth officiating. Burial to follow at Peace Lutheran Cemetery, Steeleville. Visitation will be at Peace Lutheran Church where friends may call from 11 - 2 pm.
