CUTLER – Delany Ray Piersol, 14, of Cutler, passed away on Sunday, September 6, 2020 in Sparta, Illinois.

Delany was born on November 9, 2005 in Carbondale, Illinois, the daughter of Matthew Piersol and Angela L. Clover Queen.  She was a student at Trico High School, Campbell Hill, Illinois. Delany was of the Baptist faith.

Delany is survived by her stepfather Mark and Mother Angela Queen of Cutler Illinois; Sister, Shelby Jatho of Cutler Illinois, Brother, Hayden Piersol of Cutler, Illinois.  Maternal Grandfather, Kenneth (Sharon) Clover of Hallidayboro, Illinois.  Maternal Grandmother, Kathy Hawk of Colorado Springs, Colorado.  Uncle and Aunt, Kenneth (Tasha) Clover of Ava, Illinois, Aunt, Renee Murray of Cutler, Illinois, Aunt, Candy Elder, Willisville, Illinois.  One niece, Miranda and several cousins.

Delany was also preceded in death by her father, Matthew Piersol, and paternal grandparents.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, graveside services will be held at 1:00 pm, Saturday, September 12, 2020 at Cutler Cemetery in Cutler, Illinois with Reverend Mike Higgerson officiating.  Burial will follow.  Memorials may be given to the family.
