CAMPBELL HILL – Debra R. Middendorf, 66, of Campbell Hill, passed away at 10:25 pm, Sunday, February 18, 2024, at St. Elizabeth's Hospital, O'Fallon, Illinois.

Debra was born in Chester, Illinois, on March 1, 1957, the daughter of Ernest and Barbara Grah Ehlers. She married Robert "Bob" Middendorf on February 24, 1989 in Paducah, Kentucky. Deb was a Retired Office Assistant from Menard Correctional Center.

Debra is survived by her husband, Robert "Bob" Middendorf of Campbell Hill; children, Brent Middendorf of Murphysboro, Tisha (Ben) Robertson of Millstadt, IL, Staci Middendorf of Murphysboro, IL, Lacey (Curt) Eggemeyer of Chester, IL, and Aaron (Emily) Powley of Webster Groves, MO; grandchildren, Devin Eovaldi, Logan Mitchell, Elizabeth Mitchell, Addyson Mitchell, Trentin Eggemeyer, Brylee McConahay, Trevin Eggemyer, Kinsley McConahay, Sadie Middendorf, Maebrie Middendorf, Atlas Powley and Nyla Powley; one great grandson, Levi Jeffrey Mitchell expected next month; siblings, Brian (Kristi) Ehlers of Ava, Lisa Offer of Campbell Hill, Julie Thomas of Carbondale, IL, Denny Ehlers of Willisville, Marvin (Stacy Powles) Ehlers of Ava, Rusty (Vivian) Ehlers of Ava, IL, Jack (Chris) Ehlers of Elkville, IL, Tracy (Bill) Reed of Willisville, and Krista (Ken) McHughes of Sparta, IL; and special friend, Norma Eckart of Red Bud, IL.

Debra was preceded in death by her Parents; Granny, Alberta Grah and Grandfather, Augusta "Bud" Grah; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Lawrence and Vanita Middendorf; and Special Friend, Linda Hoffman.

Memorial service will be held on Wednesday, February 21, 2024, at 2:00 pm, at Wilson's Funeral Home, Ava. Visitation will be at Wilson's Funeral Home, Ava, where friends may call from Noon until 2 pm Wednesday.
