WILLISVILLE - Dean O. Campbell, 91, of Burlison, TN, formerly of Willisville, IL, passed away at 2:05 pm, Saturday, July 6, 2013 in Tennessee. Dean was born in Tamms, IL on December 8, 1921, the son of John and Etta McCrite Campbell. He married May A. Turner on December 13, 1950 in Jonesboro, IL. She preceded him in death on December 27, 2006. Dean was retired from General Motors in St. Louis, MO and he was a farmer. Dean is survived by his son, Bryan (Sherry) Campbell of Burlison, TN; grandchildren, Christina (Michael) Jones of Appomattox, VA, and Jon (Melissa) Campbell of Memphis, TN; great grandchildren, James Murphy Jones and Ella Clare Mae Campbell; and one sister, Betty Miller of Ullin, IL. Dean was also preceded in death by his Parents; five sisters, and three brothers. Funeral service will be held at 11:00 am, Friday, July 12, 2013 at the Wilson's Funeral Home in Steeleville. Burial will follow in Paradise Cemetery, Steeleville. Visitation will be at Wilson's Funeral Home, Steeleville, where friends may call from 9 to 11 am Friday. Memorials may be given to the American Cancer Society.
