CUTLER - David Mitchell Farris, 52, of Cutler, passed away at 6:41 pm, Monday, March 24, 2014, at the St. Elizabeth's Hospital in Belleville, Illinois. David was born in Pinckneyville, Illinois on November 10, 1961, the son of Clarence and Helen Asbury Farris. He was a member of the Tabernacle of Praise of Cutler. He was a retired Ironworker. David is survived by one son, Ryan Chandler of Steeleville; two brothers, Dean (Judy) Farris of Cutler and Tom Farris of Tilden, IL; one sister, Roseta (Sam) Romano of Evansville, IL; special friend, Alice Shaw of Cutler; and many nieces and nephews. David was preceded in death by his parents; one sister, Debbie Farris; and two nephews, Sammy and Danny Romano. Funeral service will be held at 11:00 am, Friday, March 28, 2014 at the Reformed Presbyterian Church in Cutler with Rev. Mark Frisbie and Rev. Harry Jones officiating. Burial will follow in Cutler Cemetery, Cutler, Illinois. Visitation will be at Wilson's Funeral Home, Percy, where friends may call from 5 pm to 8 pm Thursday and on Friday from 7:30 am until 9 am then from 10 am until 11 am at the church. Memorials may be given to the Family.
