AVA, David W. Cross, Jr., 61, of Louisville, passed away at Sunday, July 06, 2008, at Norton Hospital in Louisville, KY. David was born November 22, 1946 in St. Louis, Missouri the son of David W. Cross and Leola (Klocke) Cross. David was a teacher assistant at the high school level. He was a member of Faith Lutheran Church, Louisville, KY, the Midwest Tool Collector's Association and the Army Reserves. He is survived by two nieces, Tracey Lynn Dunigan of Georgetown, KY and Minday Sue McGar of Louisville, KY; one nephew, Christopher Wayne Hillerich of Louisville; great nieces and nephews, Trevor Cox, Breckin McGar and Thomas Logan Dunigan.. He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, July 9, 2008 at 11:00 A.M. at Wilson's Funeral Home in Ava with Rev. Gregory J. Schultz officiating. Burial will follow at Ava Evergreen Cemetery. Visitation will be held at Wilson's Funeral Home, Ava on Tuesday from 6 pm to 8 pm and on Wednesday from 7:30 am until 11:00 am.
