WALTONVILLE – David Lowell Brelje, 59, formerly of Steeleville, IL, passed away Sunday, December 18, 2022, at his home in Waltonville, Illinois.

David was born in Chester, Illinois, on July 13, 1963, the son of Victor L. and Betty Ann (Grefe) Brelje.  He was a member of St. Mark's Lutheran Church, Steeleville, IL.

David is survived by his mother, Betty, brother, Bruce (Tammy), nephews, Nickolas, Kadon, stepdaughter, three step grandchildren and several aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

David is preceded in death by his wife, Judy, father, Victor, brother, Brian, and his grandparents.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, December 27, 2022, at 1:00 pm, at Wilson's Funeral Home, Steeleville, with Rev. Mark Harriss officiating.  Burial will follow at Paradise Cemetery. Friends may call from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm. Memorials may be given to St. Mark's Lutheran School.
