ELLIS GROVE - David E. Bowen, 32, of Ellis Grove, IL, formerly of O'Fallon, IL, passed away at 5:23 pm, Thursday, October 11, 2012 in Brighton, Colorado. David was born in Belleville, IL on October 10, 1980, the son of Ralph and Louise Escher Bowen. He was a Laborer and was of the Protestant Faith. David is survived by his son, Ray Jackson at home and his daughter, April Jones-Bowen at home; his parents, Ralph and Louise Bowen of Ellis Grove, IL; one brother, William Bowen of Belleville; two sisters, Deb Jeremiah of Steeleville and Carla Johnson of Granite City, IL; maternal grandmother, Martha Fox of Thornton, CO; and paternal grandmother, Wanda Bowen of Fairmont City, IL. Memorial service will be held at 2:00 pm on Friday, October 26, 2012 at the Wilson's Funeral Home in Steeleville with Rev. Charles Ellis officiating. Visitation will be held from 1 to 2 pm Friday at the funeral home. His wishes were to be cremated. Memorials may be given to a fund for his children.
