STEELEVILLE – David L. Boles, 85, of Steeleville, IL, passed away Tuesday, July 5, 2022, at Green Tree Assisted Living, Mt. Vernon, Illinois.

David was born February 4, 1937, in Centralia, IL. He married Celia Morss on July 14, 1956, in Mt. Vernon, IL. She preceded him in death on July 15, 2015. David was retired. He was a member of Steeleville Baptist Church, Steeleville Lions Club, and AARP Steeleville Chapter 3797.

David is survived by his children: Pennie Feazel of Steeleville, IL, Carol Brand of Steeleville, IL, Jane (Garry) Brenning of Enfield, NH; grandchildren: Eric Ingram, Danielle Orzechowski, Tiffany Hepp, Jessica Suttle, Samantha Brenning, Kristopher Hartman, Jennifer Newton; great grandchildren: Summer Brand, Dominic Ingram, Christian Ingram, Liam (LJ) Hepp, Taylin Hepp, Brianna Orzechowski, Bryson Orzechowski, Wesley Newton, Emalee Newton, Zachery Newton, Landon Hartman; siblings; Mickey Dempsy of Chicago, IL, Pat Lull of Denver, CO, and Theresa Nelson of Denver, CO.

A Memorial service will be held at 11:30 am, Saturday, July 16, 2022, at Steeleville Baptist Church, Steeleville, IL, with Rev. Richard Newcom officiating.
