CAMPBELL HILL, Darvin D. Prange, 70, of Campbell Hill, passed away at 7:13 AM Monday, July 8, 2019, at his home in Campbell Hill, Illinois. He was born January 24, 1949 in Red Bud, Illinois the son of Elmer and Edna (Eilers) Prange. Darvin married Anneita Niemeyer on September 13, 1969 at Zion Lutheran Church in Walsh, IL.
Darvin was retired from Crop Production Service in Wine Hill. He served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam conflict. Darvin was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Wine Hill, The BBK American Legion Post #480, Steeleville, the Fraternal Order of Eagles #3960, Steeleville, UMWA Local #1392 and the Randolph County Farm Bureau.
He is survived by his: wife: Anneita Prange, Campbell Hill, IL; sons: Darl (Michele) Prange, Campbell Hill and Darin (Erin) Prange, Campbell Hill; Grandchildren: Jessica, Juhle and Dalton Prange and Amira and Zain Al-Jassim. Darvin is also survived by sisters: Eunice (Mike) Johnson, Hazelwood, MO and Grace (Troy) Kimbrough, Campbell Hill and brother: Lloyd (Debbie) Prange, Ft. Worth, TX.
Darvin is preceded in death by his parents and brothers-in-law: Howard Glenn and Ronald Niemeyer.
Memorial services will be held Saturday, July 13, 2019 at 1:00 PM at Immanuel Lutheran Church (West Point) Campbell Hill, Illinois with Rev. Sean Smith officiating. Visitation will be at Immanuel Lutheran Church (West Point) on Saturday from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM. Memorials may be made to the Oncology Department at Pinckneyville Hospital or St Paul's Lutheran Church.
