Obituary
PERCY – Darryl C. Wilson, 75, of Percy passed away at 3:59 PM, Friday, January 18, 2019, at the Pinckneyville Community Hospital.
Darryl was born on February 24, 1943, in Chester, the son of Cleve and Oinna (Lang) Wilson. He married Barbara A. Brawley on June 22, 1963, in Chester and they shared 50 years of marriage before she preceded him in death on January 1, 2014. Mr. Wilson was retired as a plant manager for the Sparta Light Metals, and was of the protestant faith and a member of the academy of model Aeronautics.
He is survived by his daughter; Paula (Greg) Fosdick, of Hazelwood, Missouri, 2 grandchildren; Jared Fosdick, and Alyson Fosdick, 1 great grandchild; Nora Fosdick. He is also survived by 1 brother; Dale Wilson, of Chester, 1 sister; Donna Smith, of Chester.
Mr. Wilson was preceded in death by his parents, and wife.
Funeral services will be held at 7 PM, Monday, January 21, 2019, at the Wilson's Funeral Home in Steeleville with Rev. Doug Rice and Rev. John Chamness officiating. There will be a private burial at a later date at the Paradise Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Monday evening at the funeral home where friends may call from 4 to 7 PM. Memorials may be made to the donor's choice.
