Obituary
WILLISVILLE – Danny D. Jaimet, Sr., 75, of Willisville, passed away at 1:05 am, Thursday, August 25, 2016 at his home in Willisville.
Danny was born in Willisville, on January 25, 1941, the son of Dan E. and Dorothy E. Futter Jaimet. He married Barbara C. Reiman on February 2, 1960 at Campbell Hill, Illinois. Danny was a retired coal miner. He worked Olin Corporation for 10 years and then went to Amax Coal Co. and then to Captain Coal Co. Danny was a member of the St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Wine Hill; the Chester Eagles; and U.M.W. of A. He was a loving Father and Husband.
Danny is survived by his wife, Barbara C. Jaimet of Willisville; four children, Danny (Karen) Jaimet, Jr. of DuQuoin, IL, Dana (Jon) Mathis of Steeleville, IL , Dee (Don) Tanner of Ava, Dawn (Drew) Franklin of Ava; eleven grandchildren, Daniel (Sonja) Jaimet, Jason (Christy) Jaimet, Nathan (Jullian) Jaimet, Andrea (Brian) Blazier, Matt (Lindsay) Thies, Jessica (Frank) Romano, Christine (Eric) Tomes, Steven (Stephanie) Tanner, Dalton Eilers, Danyelle Eilers and Dalyn Eilers; and ten great grandchildren.
Danny was preceded in death by his Parents and one sister, Dixie Brown.
Funeral service will be held at 10:00 am, Saturday, August 27, 2016 at St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Wine Hill, with Rev. Sean Smith officiating. Burial will follow at Percy Village Cemetery, Percy, Illinois. Visitation will be at St. Paul's Lutheran Church on Friday from 5 pm until 8 pm and on Saturday from 8 am until 10 am. Memorials may be given to Celtic Hospice.
