STEELEVILLE – Daniel L. Reeves, Sr, 58, of Steeleville, passed away, Monday, May 9, 2022, at Red Bud Regional Hospital, Red Bud, IL.

Daniel was born March 5, 1964, in Red Bud, IL, to Donald and Florence (Tillman) Reeves. Daniel was a Veteran of the U.S. Army, and worked for Complete Exterminating Service, Sparta, IL. He was a member of Eagles Aerie Post #3252, Chester, IL, former member and past commander of BBK American Legion Post 480, Steeleville, IL, and was of the Baptist faith.

Daniel is survived by his father, Donald Reeves of Percy, IL, children: Kimberly (Jeffery) Neville of Percy, IL, Daniel Reeves, Jr, of Percy, IL, Kristy (Casey) Plake of Waterloo, IL, Lucas Jones of Steeleville, IL; several grandchildren, siblings: Carl Reeves of West Unity, OH, J.D. Reeves of Percy, IL, Douglas Reeves of Percy, IL, Denise Harbor, of Percy, IL, David Reeves of Milton, FL, Herkie Reeves of Sparta, IL; and special friend Barbara J. Bogenpohl.

Daniel is preceded in death by his mother, one brother, and two sisters.

Funeral services will be held at 8:00 pm, Wednesday, May 11, 2022, at Wilson's Funeral Home, Steeleville, with Rev. Billy Pendergrass officiating. Family and friends may call from    6 – 8 pm.
