STEELEVILLE – Daniel E. Milavec, 90, of Steeleville, passed away on Sunday, March 5, 2023, at his home in Steeleville, Illinois.

Daniel was born in Chicago, IL, on September 20, 1932, the son of Anthony and Ruth (Sweet) Milavec.  He married Mary Ann Beam on November 25, 1974, in Joliet, IL. She preceded him in death on August 6, 2018. Daniel is a Veteran of the U.S. Air Force, having served in the Korean Conflict. He was a retired from the Maintenance Department, Sparta Community Hospital, Sparta, IL. Daniel was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church, Percy, IL, and Steeleville American Legion BBK Post 480, Steeleville, IL.

Surviving is his children: Barbara Milavec of Steeleville, IL, Daniel Milavec of Joliet, IL, Kim Zeman of Joliet, IL; his granddaughter, Amy Talmadge, and his great grandson, Jessie Farr.

Daniel is also preceded in death by his parents, and one son, Chad.

Visitation will be held Friday, March 10, 2023, from 12:30 to 2:00 pm, at Wilson's Funeral Home, Steeleville, IL.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, March 10, 2023, at 2:00 pm, at Wilson's Funeral Home, Steeleville, IL, with Rev. Dr. Alan W.
