WILLISVILLE – Daniel R. Luthy, 82, of Willisville, passed away on Tuesday, January 17, 2023, at Memorial Hospital, Chester, IL.

Daniel was born in Willisville, IL, on December 7, 1940, the son of Henry and Marie (Bagley) Luthy. He married Carlotta D. Roberts on August 24, 1968, in Scott City, MO. Daniel was retired from World Color Press, Sparta, IL, and was of the Baptist faith.

Surviving is his wife, Carlotta Luthy of Willisville, IL, his children: Steven A. Luthy of Austin, TX, Kenneth (Maggie) Luthy of San Antonio, TX, Alvina Stahl of Willisville, IL, Dianna (Jesse) King of Willisville, IL, Danielle Greer of Swanwick, IL, Sarah (John) Lemcke of Willisville, IL; his five grandchildren, his siblings: William (Peg) Luthy of Pinckneyville, IL and Sherilyn (Ed) Bruns of Pinckneyville, IL.

Daniel is preceded in death by his parents, one great grandson, Alex, two brothers, Charles and Jack Luthy, and one sister, Carolyn Luthy.

Visitation will be held Friday, January 20, 2023, from 10:00 to 11:00 am, at Wilson's Funeral Home, Steeleville, IL.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, January 20, 2023, at 11:00 am, at Wilson's Funeral Home, Steeleville, IL, with Rev. Rob Mathis officiating.
