STEELEVILLE, Dahl Blanche House, 75, of Steeleville, passed away at 4:55 P.M. Wednesday, November 25, 2009, at her home in Steeleville, IL. She was born April 26, 1934 in St. Paul, Minnesota the daughter of Alvin Guthrie and Blanche (Johnston) Guthrie. She married James R. House in the year of 1951 in Washington D.C. He passed away on January 15, 2000. Mrs. House was a retired civil service employee and was also of the Catholic Faith. Dahl is survived by her three son's: James R. House of Frankfort, KY, William B. House of Steeleville, IL, and Samuel M. House of Austin, TX; sisters: Rebecca Krey of St. Paul, MN and Penny Sylvia-Kirk of Texas; three grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, one brother, Jerry and two sisters, Bridget and Levena. Due to Mrs. Houses wishes cremation will take place, private family services will follow at a later date. Arrangements are under the Auspicies of Wilson's Funeral Home Steeleville, IL
