PERCY - Curtis L. Westerman, 53, of Percy, passed away on Wednesday, December 4, 2013 at his home. Curtis was born in Chester, Illinois on July 25, 1960, the son of Erwin W. and Carol Jean Grammer Westerman. He worked in Maintenance for Gilster Mary-Lee Corporation. Curtis was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church, West Point and the Steeleville Eagles. Curtis is survived by his children, Jackie (Mason) Coffey of Ellis Grove, IL, Michael Westerman of Red Bud, IL, Gene (Elizabeth) Bell of Percy; and Robert Bell of Percy; several grandchildren; brothers, Dennis Westerman of Sparta, Neil (Laurie) Westerman of Sparta, Bruce (Linda) Westerman of Chester, Dean (Stephanie) Westerman of Campbell Hill, Mark (Stacey) Westerman of Campbell Hill and Vince Westerman of Campbell Hill; and sisters, Carolyn (Tom) Peck of Sparta, Donna (Pete) Kellerman of Pinckneyville, IL, Norla (Randy) Mulholland of Steeleville, Janet (Charles) Langrehr of Walsh, Lorraine (Jimmy) Hepp of Steeleville and Pam Westerman of Murphysboro, IL. Curtis was preceded in death by his Parents. Funeral service will be held at 1:00 pm, Monday, December 9, 2013 at the Wilson's Funeral Home in Steeleville with Rev. Tim B. Zechiel officiating. Burial will follow in Immanuel Lutheran Cemetery, West Point. Visitation will be at Wilson's Funeral Home, Steeleville, where friends may call from 11 am until 1 pm Monday. Memorials may be given to the Family.
