STEELEVILLE, Cratis R. White, 44, of Steeleville, passed away at 7:25 A.M. Thursday, April 09, 2009, at his home in Steeleville, IL. He was born January 10, 1965 in Chester, Illinois the son of Claude D. White and Roberta (Barton) White. Cratis worked as a commercial truck driver and he was of the baptist faith. He is survived by his son: Jordan M. White of Ava, IL; mother: Roberta White of Steeleville, IL; brother Lyn and Debbie Thies of Steeleville, IL; one nephew: Kevin Thies of Steeleville, IL; Numerous Aunts and Uncles. He was preceded in death by his father Claude D. White, granddaughter, Destiny Lynn Nicole White. Funeral services will be held Monday, April 13, 2009 at 2:00 P.M. at Wilson's Funeral Home in Steeleville. Rev. Mike Higgerson will be officiating. Burial will be at Paradise Cemetery. Visitation will be held at Wilson's Funeral Home, Steeleville on Monday from 11 am until the hour of service Memorials may be made to the family.
