MURPHYSBORO – Coralee H. Lawder, 80, of Murphysboro, passed away Friday, June 11, 2021, at Deaconess Gateway Hospital, Newburgh, IN.

Coralee was born January 17, 1941, in Murphysboro, to Ardell Wesley and Thelma Orbandini Holmes. She married James A. Lawder, Jr. on May 29, 1964, at the First Methodist Church, Elkville. Coralee was a retired teacher and homemaker. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church, Murphysboro.

Coralee is survived by her husband James A. Lawder, Jr. of Murphysboro, IL, and brother, Donald A. Holmes.

Coralee is preceded in death by her parents and brother William Junior Holmes.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 am, Saturday, June 19, 2021, at First Presbyterian Church, Murphysboro, with Reverend Sam Foskey and Reverend Cindy Bean officiating. Burial to follow at Pleasant Grove Memorial Cemetery, Murphysboro. Friends may call 9:30 till time of service.
