CUTLER – Collette J. Thompson, 59, of Cutler, passed away at 3:45 pm, Sunday, May 29, 2016 at the Three Springs Lodge in Chester.

Collette was born in Decatur, Illinois on August 10, 1956, the daughter of Nathan and Doris Smith Jones.  She was a Homemaker and operated convenience store in Percy for several years.  She was of the Christian faith.

Collette is survived by her daughter, Melissa (Gayland) Brock of Cutler; her sons, Brian (Kim) Goff of Trafalgar, IN and Brent Goff of Terre Haute, IN; her grandchildren, Alisha and Kalvin Brock, Adam and Miranda Goff, and Sara Jones; her mother, Doris Jones of Mt. Carmel, IL; brothers, Nathan Jones II of Myrtle Beach, SC, Lewis Jones of Keensburg, IL, Jeff Jones of Keensburg, IL; and sisters, Connie Shafer of Morriston, FL and Collien Amos of Keensburg, IL.

Collette was preceded in death by her Father and Brother, Eugene Jones.

Funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 4, 2016 at 10:30 am at Wilson's Funeral Home in Steeleville with Rev. Robert Shaffer officiating.  Burial will follow in Cutler Cemetery, Cutler, Illinois.  Visitation will be at Wilson's Funeral Home, Steeleville, where friends may call from 6 pm until 8 pm Friday and on Saturday from 7:30 am until 10:30 am.  Memorials may be given to a Love Fund for the Family.
