STEELEVILLE – Clifford P. Schremp, 83, of Steeleville, passed away at his home, Wednesday, January 5, 2022.

Cliff was born in Perryville, MO, October 31, 1938, and was raised by his aunt and uncle. He married Alberta E. Braun, May 19, 1962. She survives. Cliff was a hard-working man who loved hunting, fishing, and talking with family and friends. He also enjoyed the time he spent with his best buddy Boots. Cliff was retired from Gilster Mary-Lee, where he worked in maintenance.

Cliff is also survived by his sons: Doug (Candy) Lohman of Chester, Richard Schremp of Steeleville; daughter, Lisa (Jeff) Woodside of Steeleville, grandchildren: Christine (Jeff) Ledendecker, Stephanie Schnoeker (Toby Latham), Heather (JR) Lunneman, Danielle Schnoeker-Woodside (Wendell Quintana), Andrew Pillar (Sophia Shelton), Andrea (Jason) Eastwood, Kaycee (Ryan) Dickey, Linda Schremp, Mindy Schremp (Daniel Hamilton), Christina (Dustin) Houck;, Desuray (Bill) Kernan, thirty great grandchildren, and two  great great grandchildren.

Cliff is preceded in death by his parents, aunt and uncle, son, David Schremp, two great grandchildren, Aubrey and Lazurus, two sisters-in-laws, one brother-in-law, and his beloved dog Boots.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am, Saturday, January 8, 2022, at Wilson's Funeral Home, Steeleville, with Reverend Randy McGeehon officiating. Friends and family may call from 9 - 11 am. A graveside service will be held at Paradise Cemetery, Steeleville, 10 am, Saturday, January 15, 2022.
