AVA, Clifford E. Reeder, Sr., 67, of Ava, passed away at 3:33 PM Saturday, May 10, 2014, at St. Joseph Memorial Hospital in Murphysboro, Illinois. He was born September 30, 1946 in E. St. Louis, Illinois the son of Hugh and Ruth (McCoy) Reeder. Clifford married Carol J. Hock on December 21, 1968 in E. St. Louis, Illinois . She survives. Clifford was a maintenance worker at DuQuoin Fair Grounds. He was of the Baptist Faith. He is survived by his: wife: Carol J. Reeder, Ava, IL; 4 Children: Clifford (Kimberly) Reeder, Jr. Ava, IL, Christina Reeder, Campbell Hill, IL, Charles Reeder, Campbell Hill, IL and Chad (Rachel) Reeder, Willisville, IL; Grandchildren: Clifford Reeder III, Kera Dawn Reeder, Melanie Reeder, Shelby Reeder ,Jacob Reeder, Ethan Reeder, Draven Reeder, Landen Reeder and Shyla Nicole Reeder; 4 Brothers: Delmar McCoy, Jr., Mike McCoy, Dennis McCoy and Lonnie McCoy; 3 Sisters: Sandy Brown, Pauline Redfield and Darlene Dubree; 2 Aunts: Naomi Potter and Bee McCoy; Special Pup: Rainy; Brothers and Sisters-in-law: Wilber (Veronica) Hock, Brenda (William) Dawson, Edgar Hock, Cathy Butler and Lynda Hock. Clifford is preceded in death by his parents, 4 Brothers and 2 Sisters. . Funeral services will be held Wednesday, May 14, 2014 at 2:00 PM at Wilson's Funeral Home Ava, Illinois with Rev. Jason Brandon officiating. Burial will follow at Ava Evergreen Cemetery. Visitation will be at Wilson's Funeral Home on Wednesday from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM . Memorials may be made to Autism or the American Cancer Society.
