GORHAM, Clementine Elois Schuessler, 94, of Gorham, passed away at 9:13 A.M. Saturday, October 03, 2009, at Rehab and Care Center in Murphysboro, IL. Clementine was born June 25, 1915 in Ava, Illinois the daughter of Ross G. Morris and Millie Mae (McBride) Morris. She married Leo E. Schuessler on February 10, 1934 in Neunert, Illinois. He preceded her in death on February 9, 1991. She was a retired nurse's assistant from St. Joseph Memorial Hospital in Murphysboro, IL. Clementine was a member of the Christ Lutheran Church in Jacob and the Murphysboro Senior Citizens. Clementine is survived by one son, Daniel L. Schuessler of Blue Springs, MO; one daughter, Betty L. Taylor of Harlingen, TX; six grandchildren; several great grandchildren; one brother, Leroy Morris of Ava; and three sisters, Bernadine Franson of Colorado Springs, CO, Vivian Suchman of Columbia, IL, and Roma Brown of Murphysboro, IL. Clementine was also preceded in death by her parents and one grandson. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, October 7, 2009 at 10:30 A.M. at Wilson's Funeral Home in Ava with Rev. Mike Kettner officiating. Burial will follow at Ava Evergreen Cemetery. Visitation will be held at Wilson's Funeral Home, Ava on Tuesday from 6 to 8 pm and on Wednesday from 7:30 am until 10:30 am.
