MURPHYSBORO – Clarlyn L. Giordano, 82, of Murphysboro, formerly of Willisville, passed away at 2:22 pm, Friday, September 19, 2022, at the Memorial Hospital in Carbondale.

Clarlyn was born in Willisville, on December 29, 1939, the daughter of Martin and Rosalie Bellecia Giordano.  She retired as the Secretary to the Warden at Chester Mental Health. Clarlyn was a member of the St. Joseph Catholic Church in Willisville.

Clarlyn was survived by nieces and nephews, Catherine Crane of Murphysboro, Chris (Juli) McRoy of O'Fallon, IL, Lisa (Arthur) Tellez of San Jose, CA, Michael (Cheryl) Giordano of Highland, IN, Michelle Giordano of Schererville, IN, Martin (Tina) Giordano of Percy, Steven Riggio of California, Britni (Ryan) Pritchett of Murphysboro, Trevor & Simon McRoy, Hunter McRoy, Alex and Max Tellez, Braxton and Dawson Pritchett and Drake and Amiah McRoy.

Clarlyn was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Martin, Jr. and Frank Giordano; and sisters, Ann Riggio, Angie Grove, Frances McRoy, Marie Giordano and Rosalea Clough.

Visitation will be held at Wilson's Funeral Home, Ava, on Tuesday, September 27, 2022, from 1 pm until 3 pm.  Memorials may be given to the American Heart Association.
