Kennesaw, Georgia – Christopher William Triphahn, 37, formerly of Sparta, IL, passed away on Wednesday, October 8, 2025, at his home in Kennesaw, Georgia.

Christopher was born March 1, 1988, at Barksdale AFB, LA, to Jeffrey and Bobbi Jo (Lueth) Triphahn. Christopher was a Senior Aeronautical Engineer for Lockheed Martin, Marietta, GA. He graduated from Sparta High School in 2006, University of Illinois, Champaign, IL with his Bachelor of Science in 2010, and received his Master's Degree in Aerospace Engineering in 2012. Christopher was of the Christian faith.

Christopher is survived by his mother and stepfather, Bobbi Jo (Roger) Tite of Coulterville, IL, his father, Jeffrey A. Triphahn of Wichita, KS, his brother, Greg (Jennifer) Triphahn of Springfield, IL, his sister, Amber Triphahn (Michael Pryor) of Cincinnati, OH, his paternal grandfather, Charles Triphahn of Prospect Heights, IL, his niece, Sarah Triphahn of Springfield, IL, his step brothers: Nathanel Tite of New Athens, IL, Benjamin Tite of New Athens, IL; and his step sister, Tabitha Lancaster of Jackson, TN.

Christopher was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Herman (Dorothy) Lueth, his paternal grandmother, Judy Triphahn, and his aunt, Tamara Bohley.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, October 25, 2025, at 12:00 noon, at First Baptist Church, Tilden, IL, with Rev. Paul Hahn officiating. Burial to follow at Tilden Cemetery, Tilden IL. Visitation will be on Saturday morning, where friends may call from 9:00 am until time of service at the church.
