PERCY – Christa Michelle Gremmels, 53, of Percy passed away on Saturday, October 10, 2026, at her home in Percy, IL.

She leaves behind her mom Barb Gremmels; stepfather, Steve Armstrong, special sister and brother; Jen and Shane Williams, very special niece and nephew; Lily and Tristan Williams, grandpa and grandma; Glenn and Sue Armstrong, special friends; Russell and Gayle Bogenpohl, and Tonya Chunn, aunts, uncles, cousins, and many friends, as well as her five fur-babies.

She was preceded in death by grandpa and grandma; Omer and Leona Gremmels, as well as an uncle and an aunt.

Christa’s wishes were to be cremated; services will be held at a later date. If you wish to remember Christa, donations can be made to; Wright-Way Animal Rescue Murphysboro, Randolph County Humane Society, or Perry County Humane Society. Donations will be accepted at Wilson Funeral Home and can be mailed to P.O. Box 217, Steeleville, IL 62288.
