PERCY - Chester D. Manary, 58, of Percy, passed away at 8:45 am Wednesday, December 7, 2011 at the Memorial Hospital in Carbondale. Chester was born in Moline, IL on June 3, 1953 the son of Dale and Bernice Balmer Manary. He married Dora Brasmer on June 21, 1975 at Edginton, IL. He was a driver for Barr Trucking in Pinckneyville, IL. Chester was a member of the First Baptist Church of Cutler, IL. Chester is survived by his wife, Dora Manary of Percy; three children, Tammy (Jason) Martin of Murphysboro, Janice (Charles) Brown of Ava, and Anthony (Kristin) Manary of Madison, AL; five grandchildren, Seth Brown of Ava, Tori Manary of Murphysboro, Justine Brown of Steeleville, Whitney Martin of Murphysboro and Jaxon Martin of Murphysboro; mother, Bernice Manary of Aledo, IL; one brother, Russell Manary of Viola, IL; four sisters, Tina Green of Arizona, Bonnie (John) Hanson of Milan, IL, Vickie (Brian) Lefler of Aledo, IL and Lisa (Chuck) Soseman of Aledo, IL. He was preceded in death by his Father; three brothers and one sister. Funeral service will be held on Friday, December 9, 2011 at 1:00 pm at the Wilson's Funeral Home in Percy with Rev. Blu Berner officiating. Burial will follow in Percy Village Cemetery. Visitation will be held at Wilson's Funeral Home, Percy, where friends may call from 11 am to 1 pm Friday.
