PERCY – Charles Clay Bush, 91, of Percy, passed away at 8:30 am, Saturday, October 26, 2019, at the Pinckneyville Nursing and Rehab Center, Pinckneyville, Illinois.

Charles was born in Percy, on December 29, 1927, the son of the late Rollie and Flossie Willis Bush.  He married Delores Jean Opp on October 16, 1948 in Percy.  She preceded him in death on March 29, 2013.  He retired from McDonald Douglas in 1987.  Charles was of the Pentecostal Faith and was a former member of the Masonic Lodge.

Charles is survived by 4 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren; sister, June Rose (Eugene) Priebe of Bloomington, IL; and caregiver, Maring Nosset of Percy.

Charles was also preceded in death by his Parents; two daughters, Robin Douglas and Cathy Poston; and one brother, Gary John Bush.

Graveside service will be held at 2:00 pm, Friday, November 1, 2019, at Percy Cemetery, Percy, Illinois with Rev. Stephen Duncan officiating.  Burial will follow.  Memorials may be given to Percy Cemetery.
