STEELEVILLE - Celia M. Boles, 75, of Steeleville, passed away at 3:20 pm, Wednesday, July 15, 2015 at Three Springs Lodge Nursing Home in Chester, Illinois. Celia was born in Ashley, Illinois on October 16, 1939, the daughter of Frank and Ruth Johnson Mores. She married David Boles on July 14, 1956 in Mount Vernon, Illinois. Celia was a Homemaker. She was a member of the Steeleville Baptist Church and the Steeleville Lions Club. Celia is survived by her husband, David Boles of Steeleville; her children, Penny Feazel of Steeleville, Carol Brand of Steeleville, and Jane Brenning of New Hampshire; 7 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; and one sister, Linda Talbert of Waltonville, Illinois. Celia was preceded in death by her Parents; two sisters and four brothers. Memorial service will be held at 7:00 pm on Thursday, August 6, 2015 at the Steeleville Baptist Church with Rev. Scott Foshie officiating. Burial will be at a later date at the Knob Prairie Cemetery in Waltonville. Visitation will be at Steeleville Baptist Church on Thursday, August 6, 2015 from 6 pm until 7 pm. Memorials may be given Steeleville Baptist Church.
