AVA, Catherine Elizabeth "Betty" Bramlett, 85, of Ava, passed away at 10:39 A.M. Saturday, March 26, 2011, at Fairview Nursing Center in DuQuoin, IL. She was born June 08, 1925 in Chicago, IL. She is survived by her children: Jake Bramlett of Statesville, IL, Philip Bramlett, Sr. of Ava, Jimmy Bramlett of Ava, Mary Gale of Millington, TN, Betty Bramlett of Ava, Malloy Bramlett of Murphysboro, Susan Holcomb of Sparta, IL, Butch Bramlett of Sikeston, MO and Sam Bramlett of Huebert, NC; 46 grandchildren, 66 great grandchildren, and 1 great great grandchild. She is preceded in death by her parents, two daughters: Sharon Bramlett and Linda Thies; one son: John Bramlett Sr.; two granddaughters: Tammy Sue Smith and Memory Bramlett; one great grandson: Gavin Bramlett; one daughter-in-law: Kathy Bramlett; one son-in-law: Jim Thies; one step son: Sonny Bramlett; one brother: John Stumpf. She was a homemaker. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, March 29, 2011 at 1:00 P.M. at Wilson's Funeral Home in Ava. Rev. Thomas Bevis will be officiating. Burial will be at Ava Evergreen Cemetery. Visitation will be held at Wilson's Funeral Home, Ava on Tuesday from 10am to 1pm. Memorials may be made to Alzheimer's Association
