Obituary

BELLEVILLE – Casey Paul Craig, 35, of Belleville, Illinois, formerly of Willisville, passed away on Tuesday, June 23, 2020, in his home.

Son of Loren D. Craig and Linda (Ebers) Craig, born on August 14, 1984, in Chester. Casey was an Engineer at Boeing in Hazelwood, Missouri. Casey was a graduate of SIU Carbondale. He earned a Masters in Business Administration, Mechanical Engineering, and a math minor. He earned a Masters of Science Systems Management from National Graduate School in Massachusetts. He also studied Management Training at Dale Carnegie Institute. Casey loved to learn. He was a talented artist. Casey also loved the sports of golf, and bowling. He enjoyed studying both sports and improving his games. He threw several perfect (300) games, and an 800 series. He was always willing to teach his nephews what he had learned. He could hit a golf ball farther than most. He enjoyed the reactions he got from his family and friends. Casey's smile revealed his kind heart. He was a great son, brother, uncle, nephew, cousin, and friend. He will be missed by many!

Casey is survived by his parents; Loren D. and Linda Ebers Craig, of Willisville, brothers; Loren T. II "Tom" (Amy) Craig, of Steeleville, Dennis (Tania) Craig, of Willisville, 2 nephews; Justin and Nicholas Craig, of Steeleville, and many friends.

Casey was preceded in death by his grandparents; Herbert and Tootsie Ebers, and Loren Thomas Craig, and Beulah Keeney, cousins; Ricky Johnson, and David Bogenpohl, and Gina Marie Bogenpohl.

Due to the COVID-19 Pandemic, private graveside services will be held at the Percy Village Cemetery, Percy, with Rev. Mike Higgerson officiating. Memorials may be made to the family, and can be mailed to the Wilson's Funeral Home, PO Box 217, Steeleville, Illinois 62288.
