STEELEVILLE – Caroline L. Fiene, 92, of Steeleville passed away at 1:30 AM, Saturday, July 20, 2019, at the Randolph County Care Center in Sparta.

Caroline was born on May 14, 1925, in Wintrhop, Massachusetts, the daughter of Michael J. and Louise (Cook) Frankovich. She married Carl E. Fiene, on December 25, 1946, in Steeleville and they shared 25 years of marriage before he preceded her in death on October 3, 1972. Mrs. Fiene was a homemaker.

Caroline is survived by her children; Faith L. Fiene, of Lexington, Kentucky, Hope M. Fiene, of Sparta, and Thomas C. Fiene, of Steeleville.

Mrs. Fiene was preceded in death by her parents, and 1 brother; John Frankovich.

It was Mrs. Fiene's wishes for cremation and a memorial graveside service will be held at a later date at the Steeleville City Cemetery. Wilson's Funeral Home in Steeleville is assisting the family with the arrangements.
