GORHAM – Carl Kevin Karg, 57, of Gorham, passed away on Friday, February 17, 2023, in Corsicana, Texas.

Carl Kevin was born in Sparta, Illinois, on July 11, 1965, the son of Carl Donald and Mary Jane Weihe Karg. He married Theresa Gale-Ford at Christ Lutheran Church in Jacob on December 21, 1985. Carl Kevin was a Farmer and Truck Driver. He was a member of the Immanuel Lutheran Church in Murphysboro. He was the Treasurer of the Jackson County Soil and Water Conservation District and was a Director of the Jackson County Farm Bureau.

Carl Kevin is survived by his wife, Theresa Karg of Gorham; daughter, Heather (Ryne Bryant) Karg of Murphysboro; son, Carl Jeffrey Karg (Harmony) of Murphysboro; grandchildren, Shakur, Molly, Carl Brantly, Carsyn, Maybree, Calvyn, Kyler, Elyjah, Carver, Angel Paizley, and Zayden; father, Carl Donald Karg of Murphysboro; mother, Mary Jane Karg of Nashville, IL; brothers, Michael (Amy) Karg of Murphysboro and Christian (Joyce Morgan) Karg of Ava; sister, Linda (Eric) Clendenin of Gorham; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Ronald and Carol Ford of Grand Tower, IL; numerous Aunts, Uncles, Brothers-in-law, Sisters-in-law, Nieces, and Nephews.

Carl Kevin was preceded in death by his Grandparents.

Funeral service will be on Wednesday, March 1, 2023, at 11:00 am, at the Immanuel Lutheran Church in Murphysboro, with Pastor Matthew Christian officiating. Burial will follow at Pleasant Grove Memorial Park in Murphysboro. Visitation will be at Wilson's Funeral Home, Ava, where friends may call on Tuesday from 5 pm until 8 pm, and on Wednesday from 7:30 am until 8:30 am, then at the church from 10 am until 11 am. Memorials may be given to St. Louis Children's Hospital or Immanuel Lutheran School Scholarship Fund.
