AVA – Brian D. Kueker, 50, of Ava, passed away at 6:50 AM, Wednesday, April 24, 2019 at the Three Springs Lodge in Chester.

Brian was born on September 2, 1968, in Pinckneyville, the son of Ralph W. and Dorothy (Galbreath) Kueker. He married Jean E. Qualls on June 25, 2002, in Murphysboro. Brian was a factory worker and a member of the St. Mark's Lutheran Church, Steeleville.

Brian is survived by his wife; Jean E. Kueker, of Ava, step-sons; Brit Towle, of Sparta, Brian (Sydney) Towle, of Ava, and Bradley (Kallie) Towle, of Ava, 2 grandchildren; Tristin and Ezra, and another on the way. He is also survived by his mother; Dorothy Kueker, of Ava, 2 sisters; Sherry (Troy) Maynard, of Ava, Cindy (Alex) Sparks, of Percy.

Mr. Kueker was preceded in death by his father.

Funeral services will be held at 2 PM, Tuesday, April 30, 2019, at the Wilson's Funeral Home in Ava with Rev. Mike Kettner officiating, burial will follow at the Ava Evergreen Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Monday evening where friends may call from 5 to 8 PM, and then on Tuesday from 7:30 AM to 2 PM. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
