AVA – Brent W. Rodgers, 57, passed away on Tuesday, December 12, 2023, at his home in Ava, Illinois.

Brent was born on July 15, 1966, in Greenville, KY, the son of David and Mary Ann (Roberts) Rodgers. He was a forklift operator for Gilster Mary Lee Corporation, Steeleville, IL.

Brent is survived by his daughters: Sonya (Justin) Dilday of Rockwood, IL, Stephanie (Danny) Phoenix of Ava, IL, Holly (Zachary) Danbury of Ava, IL, Hannah (Justin) Reiman of Ava, IL; grandchildren: Mason, Myles, and Maddox Dilday, Heidi and Cecil Phoenix, Isabella, Genevieve, and Wesley Danbury, Zoey Wright; mother, Mary Ann Rodgers of Carbondale, IL, sisters: Shannon (Tee) Ramos of Hilton Head, SC, Kim (Tim) Riley of New Cumberland, PA, Julie (Mark) Hazel of Tunnel Hill, IL; brother, Michael Rodgers of Chester, IL, and the mother of children, Tina Smock of Murphysboro, IL.

Brent was preceded in death by his father, David Rodgers.

Brent's wishes were to be cremated and a Celebration of Life will be held Friday, December 29, 2023, at 5:00 pm, at Assembly of God Church, Ava, IL .
