CUTLER – Brenda Mason, 73, passed away at 10:38 am, Saturday, January 4, 2025, surrounded by her loving family.

Brenda was born on November 18, 1951, to Robert and Isabell (Davis) Langwith. She graduated from Trico High School in 1969. Brenda married Johnnie Mason on February 3, 1986, in Cutler, IL. She was a member of Clarmin Baptist Church, Clarmin, IL. Brenda spent her life caring for others as a Nursing Assistant at local facilities, as well as in-home health. She has served the Cutler community for several years.

Brenda is survived by her husband, Johnnie Mason of Cutler, IL, her son, Jon Mical (Jessica) Mason of Pinckneyville, IL, her brother, Robert Langwith Jr. of Cutler, IL, her grandchildren: Zachary Koch, Hannah Koch, Serenity Mason; and her great grandchild, Brynley Koch.

Brenda was preceded in death by her parents, a daughter, Lynette Koch and a grandson, Shawn Farmer.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, January 9, 2025, 7:00 pm, at Wilson's Funeral Home, Steeleville, IL, with Rev. Mike Higgerson officiating. Friends may call on Thursday from 5:00 – 8:00 pm.
