PERCY - Brandan G. Owen, 5, of Percy, passed away at 3:25 am, Friday, May 10, 2013 at his home in Percy. Brandan was born in Carbondale, IL, on October 21, 2007, the son of Mathew and Natasha Pittman Owen. He was a member of the St. Mark's Lutheran Church, Steeleville and was in the Pre-K at Trico Elementary. Brandan is survived by his parents, Mathew and Natasha Owen of Percy; two brothers, Noah Owen of Percy and Austin Owen of Sparta, IL; maternal grandmother, Neomia Kathy Pittman of Perryville, MO; paternal grandparents, Larry Gene and Paula Owen of Steeleville; 8 aunts and uncles, Mark A. Owen, Stacy (Michael) Hughey, Stephanie (Terry) Savage, Nathan (Season) Owen, Thedra (Michael) Waller, Leann (Shawn) Martin, Chandos (Lisa) Pittman, and Katrina (Justin) Amschler; special cousin, Megan Inselman and many other cousins. He was preceded in death by his Paternal Grandfather, Jerome Pittman. Funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm, Tuesday, May 14, 2013 at the St. Mark's Lutheran Church in Steeleville with Rev. Dr. Alan W. Janneke officiating. Burial will in St. Mark's Lutheran Cemetery, Steeleville. Visitation will be at St. Mark's Lutheran Church on Monday from 4 to 8 pm and on Tuesday from 7:30 am until the hour of service. Memorials may be given to a Love Fund for the Family. Arrangements are being handled by Wilson's Funeral Home, Steeleville.
