Obituary

CAMPBELL HILL – Bradley Dean Ehlers, 52, of Campbell Hill, passed away on Monday, August 20, 2018, due to a motor vehicle accident in rural Ava.

Bradley was born in St. Louis, Missouri, on April 24, 1966, the son of Harold Dean and Mary Rathert Ehlers.  He worked for Kuhnert Farms and was half owner of Slim Chance Cattle Company.  Bradley was a member of St. Luke's Lutheran Church, Campbell Hill and "Our Gang" Variety Show, Campbell Hill.

Brad is survived by his mother, Mary Ehlers of Campbell Hill; sister, Stephanie (Rodney) Thornton of Coulterville; nieces, Jessi & Juli Thornton; aunts and uncles, Karen (Robert) Hayes, Bonnie (Jack) David, Jim (Linda) Rathert, Larry Rathert, Lucille Kloth and Betty Ehlers; and several cousins.

Brad was preceded in death by his Father; aunt, Karla Rathert; Uncles, Lawrence Ehlers and Bert Kloth; and his grandparents, Walt and Lora Rathert and Louie and Zenie Ehlers.

Funeral service will be at 11:00 am, Wednesday, August 22, 2018 at St. Luke's Lutheran Church, Campbell Hill, with Rev. Troy Hedrick and Minister Deb Rathert officiating.  Burial will follow at St. Luke's Lutheran Cemetery, Campbell Hill.  Visitation will be at Wilson's Funeral Home, Ava, where friends may call from 5 pm until 8 pm Tuesday and on Wednesday from 7:30 am until 9 am then from 10 am until 11 am at the church.  Memorials may be given to St. Luke's Lutheran Church Building Fund.
