CUTLER – Bonnie Sue Gaetz, 86, of Culter, IL, passed away on Friday, October 10, 2025, at Union Care Center, Union, Missouri.

Bonnie was born on July 10, 1939, in Cutler, IL to Howard A. and Lucille (Jones) Ellenberg. She married Ronald E. Gaetz on December 12, 1956, in Corinth, MS. He preceded her in death on August 2, 2022. Bonnie was a Homemaker and represented the Nashville Monument Company for several years. She was a member of Tri-County Pentecostal Church in Cutler, IL.

Bonnie is survived by her children: Richard (Betty) Gaetz of Villa Ridge, MO, Rhonda (George) Heisner of Pinckneyville, IL, Linda (Roger) Koker of Cutler, IL; her grandchildren: Lisa (Matthew) Heine, Josh (Tracy) Gaetz, William R. Heisner (Brent Sherrard), Michael (Amanda) Gaetz, Ericka (Damian) Boggess, Kylie (Jesse) Hohgrefe, Jeron Koker( Jaylinn Neel), Angel Bowers, Charity (Tim) Schaffner, and Amber (Jason) Putz; her 25 great grandchildren, 7 great great grandchildren, her siblings: Gary Ellenberg of Galesburg, IL, and Janice Mathenia of DuQuoin, IL.

Bonnie was also preceded in death by her parents, sisters: Donna Thompson, Judy Pelate and an infant sister, Janet Louise Ellenberg; brothers: Larry Ellenberg, Dave Ellenberg, Jim Ellenberg and Tom Ellenberg.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, October 18, 2025, at 1:00 pm, at Tri County Pentecostal Church, Cutler, IL, with Rev. Billy Pendergrass and Rev. Richard Gaetz officiating. Burial to follow at Cutler Cemetery, Cutler, IL. Visitation will be Saturday morning, where friends may call from 11:00 am until time of service at the church.
