PERCY – Bonita Jacoby, 78, of Percy, passed away Tuesday, February 8, 2022, at St. Elizabeth's Hospital in O'Fallon, IL.

Bonita was born November 10, 1943, in Walsh, IL, to Harold and Elizabeth Roche Stork.  She married Kenneth R. Jacoby on August 23, 1968, in Percy, IL.  Bonita was the owner of her own hair salon which she operated from her home in Percy, IL, for many years. She was a Boy Scout Leader of Okaw Valley Troop 348 and received an Outstanding Service Award as a Unit Committee Chairman and Committee Member, along with other numerous scout awards.

Bonita is survived by her husband, Kenneth R. Jacoby of Percy, IL, children: Jeri Williams of Percy, IL, Jeff Young of Hillsboro, MO, Kenneth R. Jacoby, Jr, of Percy, IL; five grandchildren, eight great grandchildren, siblings: Gary Stork of Sparta, IL, Jack Stork of Jerseyville, IL, Darla Loos of Steeleville, IL, and Iva Jean Beattie of Sparta, IL.

Bonita is preceded in death by her parents, one granddaughter, and one sister.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm, Friday, February 11, 2022, at Steeleville Baptist Church, Steeleville, with Rev. Zachary Furlong officiating.  Burial to follow at Percy Village Cemetery, Percy.  Visitation will be at Steeleville Baptist Church, Steeleville, where friends may call from 10:30 - 1 pm.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to Steeleville Baptist Church and can be mailed to Wilson Funeral Home, P.O.
