GORHAM – Bobbie Dean White, 91, passed away on Tuesday, January 28, 2025, at Memorial Hospital, Carbondale, Illinois.

Bobbie was born on January 14, 1934, in Grimsby, IL, the son of Virgil C. and Violet (Reames) White. He married Mary Lou Fehringer on October 17, 1959, at the Methodist Church, Gorham, IL. Bobby was a Veteran of the U.S. Air Force and a retired Supervisor at Curwood, Murphysboro, IL. He was a member of Sand Ridge Baptist Church, Sand Ridge, IL.

Bobby is survived by his wife, Mary Lou White of Gorham, IL, his son, Bobbie White, Jr. of Sand Ridge, IL, his grandson, Kodi Levi (Lindsay Grammer) Ruble of Murphysboro, IL, his great grandchildren: Kinsley, Karson Levi, Rigdon David and Lakeden Lee; and his brother, Larry (Linda) White of Gorham, IL.

Bobby was preceded in death by his parents, a son, Michael Lee, his siblings: Phyllis White, Joyce Darnstaedt, Gene White, and Nancy White.

Funeral services will be held Monday, February 3, 2025, at 11:00 am, at Wilson's Funeral Home, Ava, IL, with Rev. Andrew Mifflin officiating. Burial to follow at Murdale Garden of Memory, Murphysboro, IL. Visitation will be on Monday morning, where friends may call from 9:00 am until the time of service at the funeral home.  Memorials may be given to Hospice of Southern Illinois or Crain Baptist Church and can be mailed to Wilson's Funeral Home, P.O.
