STEELEVILLE – Bobbie J. Adams, 72, of Steeleville, passed away Monday, July 19, 2021, at Southeast Hospital, Cape Girardeau, Missouri.

Bobbie was born January 9, 1949, in Piedmont, MO, to Floyd and Lucy Grigery Pogue. She married Thomas A. Adams on June 5, 1980, in Steeleville, IL. He preceded her in death on April 28, 2013. Bobbie was a homemaker and was of the Baptist faith. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.

Bobbie is survived by her children; Thomas (Jamie) Adams of Chester, Rodney (Chandra) Adams of Chester and Eric Adams of Steeleville. She had twelve grandchildren: Sarah Jo, Jerrod, Joel, Katy Jane, Haley, Destiny, Devon, Shelby, Brooklynn, John, Ariel, and Floyd Allen. Bobbie is also survived by her siblings; Thomas (Ruth) Pogue of Cadiz, KY, William (Rose) Pogue of Kenton, OH, and Sharon (Earl) Miller of Dittmer, MO.

Bobbie is also preceded in death by her parents.

Funeral services will be held at 1 pm, Friday, July 23, 2021, at Wilson's Funeral Home, Steeleville, with Reverend Stephen Duncan officiating. Burial to follow at Percy Village Cemetery, Percy. Friends may call 6–8 pm, Thursday, July 22, 2021, and 7:30 am-1 pm, Friday, July 23, 2021, at Wilson Funeral Home, Steeleville.
