Obituary

WILLISVILLE – Blonita J. Miller, 68, of Willisville, passed away at 3:02 pm, Saturday, February 5, 2022, at Missouri-Baptist Hospital, St. Louis, MO.

Blonita was born at Scott Air Force Base, Illinois, on December 2, 1953, the daughter of Charles and Ruby Hancock Hargrave.  She was retired from Gilster Mary-Lee Lab.  Blonita was a member of Women's Organization of Willisville and she volunteered at the library.  She enjoyed Buffalo hunting with her sister, she liked road tripping and taking pictures of old barns.

Blonita is survived by children, Rosie (Tom) Snider of Percy, Jimmie (Jennifer) Askins of Ava, Jeff (Leslie) Miller of Pinckneyville, IL, Dana (Jerry) Wyciskalla of Tamaroa, IL, and Amy Miller of Tamaroa; 14 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren; siblings, Jinks (Betty) Hargrave of Trenton, IL, Vanessa (Cleo) Roy of Maestown, IL, Annette Janson of Pacific, MO, and Denise Mullis of LeRoy, IL; brother-in-law, Blaise Buccannan of Festus, MO; and her favorite, meanest cat that ever walked, Possum.

Blonita was preceded in death by her Parents; two sisters; and husband.

Funeral service will be at 1 pm, Tuesday, February 8, 2022, at River of Life Church in Percy, with Rev. Ed Spiller officiating.  Burial will follow at Percy Cemetery, Percy, Illinois.  Visitation will be at the church on Tuesday from 11 am until 1 pm.  Memorials may be given to River of Life Church, Percy.
