CAMPBELL HILL – Billy Joe Taylor, 90, of Campbell Hill, passed away on Monday, March 6, 2023, at Addington Place, Sparta, IL.

Billy was born in Santa Anna, TX, on February 13, 1933, the son of I.O. and Oleta (Moore) Taylor.  He married Linda Simm on December 21, 1974, in Las Vegas, NV. Billy was a Veteran of the U.S. Air Force. He was a pilot and flight instructor, and was A&P.

Surviving is his wife, Linda Taylor of Campbell Hill, IL and his sister, Hazel Cavanaugh.

Billy is preceded in death by his parents, and one sister.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, March 16, 2023, 2:00 pm, at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery, St. Louis, MO, with Military Rites by Scott Air Force Base.
