MURPHYSBORO – Billy Kie Dallas, 63, of Murphysboro, passed away on Thursday, December 10, 2020, at home.

Billy Kie was born in Murphysboro, Illinois, on March 2, 1957, the son of Billy Dean and Ruby Jo Sickler Dallas.  He was the owner of Dallas Wood Products and a Truck Driver for Alstat Wood Products.  He was a veteran of the US Navy, having served from 1975-1979 aboard the USS DD714 William M. Wood and the USS DD763 William C. Lawe.

Billy Kie is survived by one daughter, Jennifer R. Dallas of Carbondale; sister, Patty Grammer of Murphysboro; two brothers, Danny C. Dallas of Ava and Bobby D. Dallas of DeSoto, IL; many nieces and nephews; life partner, Nancy Black of Murphysboro; his little buddy, Dalton Jade Mitchell of Vergennes.

Billy Kie was preceded in death by his Parents; and one brother, Jimmy Carrell Dallas.

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, April 17, 2021 at 11:00 am at the Ava Evergreen Cemetery, with Rev. Jim Easton officiating.  Burial will follow.  Memorials may be given to Ava Evergreen Cemetery in Billy Kie's memory, and can be mailed to Wilson's Funeral Home, PO Box 277, Ava, IL 62907.
