GRANITE CITY, Billie E. Tindall Sr., 78, of Granite City, passed away at Friday, January 28, 2011, at Christian Hospital Northeast in St. Louis County, MO. He was born March 13, 1932 in Granite City, Illinois the son of Clay Tindall and Marie (Shepard) Tindall. Billie married Murriel Pauline "Polly" Koehn she later passed away, he then married Anna Eisler she later passed away also. He is survived by his children: Melodie Tindall of Murphysboro, IL, Bill E. and Sherry Tindall Jr. of Granite City, IL., Diana and Rick Ryan of Collinsville, IL, Sherry and Robbie Tindall-Turnbull of Florissant, MO, and Leslie S. and Vince O'Conner of Maryville, IL; sister, Ina and Jim Stephens of Ashland, KY; uncle: Jack Shepard of Sand Ridge, IL; 10 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. Mr. Tindall was a lifelong resident of the Granite City area. He was retired as a construction manager with Tindall Construction Co., a former vice- president of H.H. Hall Construction Co., a member of the Southern Illinois Builders Assn. and Carpenters Local #633, Granite City, IL. Mr. Tindall was also a member of Masonic Lodge #835, AFAM, Granite City, Ainad Shriners, East St. Louis, IL and Eagles Aeire#1126, Granite City, IL. Funeral services will be held Monday, January 31, 2011 at 3:00 P.M. at Wilson's Funeral Home in Ava. Rev. Blu Berner will be officiating. Burial will be at Pleasant Ridge Cemetery in Rockwood, IL. Visitation will be on Sunday from 2 to 6 pm at the Davis Funeral Home in Granite City, IL and then on Monday from 2 to 3pm at Wilson's Funeral Home in Ava, IL.
