STEELEVILLE – Beulah E. Weaver, 88, of Steeleville, passed away at 7:05 PM, Wednesday, August 16, 2017 at the Coulterville Care Center in Coulterville, Illinois.
Beulah was born on Sunday, December 23, 1928, in Pinckneyville, the daughter of William J. Mayer and Hildegard (Caupert) Mayer. She married Albert Weaver on April 6, 1947, in Conant, Illinois and they shared 68 years of marriage before he preceded her in death on May 17, 2015. Beulah was baptized, confirmed, and married at the Trinity Lutheran Church in Conant, Illinois, she was a homemaker. Beulah was a member of the St. Mark's Lutheran Church, and a former member of the St. Mark's Ladies Aid.
She is survived by her 2 sons; Marvin (Paula) Weaver of Steeleville, Steven (Dorothy) Weaver, of Steeleville, 2 daughters; Sharon (Robert) Rednour, of Steeleville, and Nancy (James) Jeffers, of Steeleville, 6 grandsons, and 4 granddaughters, 17 great grandchildren, she is also survived by 2 brothers; Maurice (Catherine) Mayer, of Steeleville, Vernon (Helen) Mayer, of Cutler, and several nieces and nephews.
Beulah was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and 1 brother; Milton Mayer.
Funeral services will be held at 11 AM, Saturday, August 19, 2017, at the St. Mark's Lutheran Church in Steeleville, with Rev. William F. Engfehr III, officiating, and burial will follow at the Paradise Cemetery, Steeleville. Visitation will be held on Friday evening at the Wilson's Funeral Home in Steeleville where friends may call from 6 to 8 PM, and then on Saturday from 7:30 to 9 and then from 10 to 11 AM at the church. Memorials may be made to the St. Mark's Lutheran Church.
